In the spirit of charge, we're interested to see proposals that

• Pilot alternative models
• Experiment creatively with how to sustain an art practice
• Intersect arts and activist communities
• Actively intervene in current standards and practices of compensation
• Engage both critically and generatively in the arts ecosystem
• Compile research on how artists’ work ties into the larger economy
• Reject and reimagine the premise of grants and/or this process of granting itself

The charge grant will be announced and awarded at Gallery Homeland's inaugural Sunday Soup on January 11, 2015, which will also give out its own grant.
