About the Exhibition

Face Me exhibits four clocks constrained under several axes of concealment. These include veiling, weighing, and encoding to withhold its face, movement, and normative language.

Face Me's central concerns are knowability and chononormativity. Using sexually deviant vocabulary to perform experiences of non-normative time, it asks what of time and desire may become legible under concealment or reclaimable when withheld.
